Ahafo Minister pledges completion of abandoned projects in Tano North

 

The Minister for Ahafo Region, Charity Gardiner, has assured residents that all abandoned and uncompleted projects in the Tano North Municipality will be completed under the current government to boost development.

Speaking during a working visit to Duayaw Nkwanta, the minister said several projects, including classroom blocks and dormitories, were left uncompleted by the previous government, slowing down progress in the area.

She disclosed that the Regional Coordinating Council will soon invite contractors and consultants responsible for the projects to explain the reasons for the delays and chart a way forward.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Tano North, Pius Opoku, also pledged his commitment to ensuring that stalled projects are completed to improve living standards in the municipality.
