MTN Ghana has signed a $2 million sponsorship agreement with four of the country’s national football teams.

The deal, which was officially announced on Wednesday, will see the telecommunications giant support the Black Stars, Black Queens, Black Meteors, and Black Satellites in their upcoming competitions.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, MTN Ghana Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Blewett, said the partnership underscores the company’s commitment to the development of football in Ghana.

“We believe this investment will not only boost the performance of our national teams but also inspire young talents across the country,” he stated.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku expressed gratitude to MTN Ghana, describing the sponsorship as a timely boost for the teams.

“This partnership comes at a crucial time as our teams prepare for major tournaments, and we are confident it will yield great results,” Okraku said.
