Widow of late Goasomanhene vows to continue his philanthropic legacy

Nana Ama Bosomprah, widow of the late paramount chief of Goaso, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, has pledged to carry on the charitable initiatives her husband championed during his lifetime.

In her tribute, she described the late chief as a man deeply committed to improving the welfare of others. She recalled his passion for organising events to feed children, supporting health facilities, and assisting schools, among other acts of service.

Nana Ama Bosomprah stressed that his passing would not mark the end of these community projects. Instead, she has resolved to maintain and expand them to reach even more people.

“My husband’s vision was to make life better for those in need, and I will ensure that this vision continues,” she said.

Nana Kwasi Bosomprah passed away after a prolonged illness. His death was officially announced on December 16, 2024, by Otumfuo’s linguist, Kyeame Antwi Boasiako, during an Asanteman Council meeting.

Nana Bosomprah ascended the Goasomanhene stool in 2008 and was known for his vocal advocacy for development and his critiques of government policies perceived to hinder progress in the Goaso area.
