Black Queens midfielder Boye-Hlorkah joins Nottingham Forest Women on two-year deal

Black Queens midfielder Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has signed a two-year contract with English side Nottingham Forest Women ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 29-year-old joins as a free agent after leaving London City Lionesses at the end of last season.

During her time with the Lionesses, Boye-Hlorkah played a pivotal role in their promotion to the English top flight, registering six goals and two assists in 19 appearances.

Boye-Hlorkah began her career at Everton’s Centre of Excellence and made her Women’s Super League debut for the club in 2013, scoring her first senior goal later that season.

She went on to spend eight years with the Toffees before moving to Aston Villa in 2021 for a two-season spell.

In 2023, she joined London City Lionesses, making 37 appearances over two seasons.

On the international stage, Boye-Hlorkah was part of the Black Queens squad that clinched bronze at the recent Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
