A phone seller has been found dead under the Kasoa overpass in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
According to the Municipal office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the man reportedly complained of severe stomach pains the previous night before his lifeless body was discovered early this morning.
It is unclear whether he may have ingested a poisonous substance.
Confirming the incident, Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Director, Nash Nyande Adams, told Adom News that the deceased was a well-known phone dealer in Kasoa.
“He complained of stomach pains last night, but this morning we found him dead under the overpass,” Mr Adams said.
Police are yet to release further details as investigations continue.
