Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has hailed the arrival of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, describing him as an excellent addition to the squad.

Kudus joined the North London side from West Ham United in a deal reportedly worth £55 million, signing a five-year contract.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Frank expressed his delight over the signing.

“I think it’s a great signing from the club,” Thomas Frank told the press on Friday.

“It’s top work from Daniel Levy getting a very good player early in pre-season, so we can start working with him.”

Frank praised the 23-year-old’s versatility and attacking qualities.

“He gives us a bit of unpredictability in the game. I think his one-on-one actions are top, his passes are top, and his finishing is very good. He is at the perfect age to perform and take it to the next level,” he added.

Kudus, who arrived in time for pre-season training, has been named in the squad for Tottenham’s friendly against Reading later today, where he is expected to make his first appearance for the club.
