Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani remains optimistic that the club’s current transfer ban will soon be lifted.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) imposed the sanction after the club failed to pay a $70,000 fee to New Edubiase United related to the transfer of midfielder Salim Adams.
Speaking to Joy Sports, Dramani expressed confidence in the club’s ability to resolve the financial dispute.
“I’m very positive. In the long run, it’s all about monetary imbalances that will be taken care of,” the former Black Stars assistant coach said.
“I’m hoping that at the end of the day, the club will fulfil their obligations and be free to conduct their business,” Dramani added.
Following a disappointing 2024/25 season, Dramani aims to revive the fortunes of the Phobians in the upcoming campaign.
The experienced tactician, who signed a two-year contract, will officially begin his tenure with a high-profile clash against Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak are also scheduled to travel to Nigeria two days later to compete in the Eko International Cup.
