The Ghana Police Service has arrested Kwesi Bik Nelson in connection with an attempted murder following a stabbing incident.
In a statement, the police confirmed that the incident occurred on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Mangol near Yunyoo in the North East Region.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect stabbed the victim with a dagger, inflicting severe injuries to the head and stomach during a confrontation.
The victim was rushed to the Baptist Medical Centre (BMC) in Nalerigu, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
The suspect is in police custody, assisting with investigations, and will be put before court.
