Promiscuous commercial drivers and those with large families cannot own their own vehicle. This is according to the Director of VASCO Car Work and Pay Company.
Vasco Adusei explained that, such drivers spend all their monies on taking care of their dependents, hence it becomes difficult for them to save.

His comment follows incessant complaints by some taxi drivers about the inhumane treatment being meted out to them by their car owners.
Majority of them, who sign-up for the work and pay option, lose their cars after paying about 90 percent of the amount.

But, Mr Adusei on Y’asem Nie segment on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem Wednesday said most drivers lose their cars because “they are not serious.”
He maintained that their aim for doing ‘Work and Pay’ is to provide an easy way for drivers to own cars so they will never deny anyone who is hardworking.

“Some 20 drivers now own cars after working with me so if you are not serious, no car owner will tolerate you,” Mr Adusei said.
