Living in Accra as a child was survival of the fittest, according to one Robert, a seasoned mechanic in Accra.
His dream was to become a footballer but this became a nightmare when he was lured to Accra by a family friend.

“This man came to our village in the Central region and promised to link me to a football club in Accra but it was all a lie,” he stated in Twi on ‘Y’asem Nie’, a segment on Dwaso Nsem on Adom FM.
Robert recounted how, then a teenager, he had to bath a very fat woman who was bedridden just to please his sponsor.

“I accepted it because the man told me it was the only way I could generate money to pay for my expenses,” he noted.
Robert said he bathed the woman for about two years until he realised the man was a fraudster.
