Head coach of Elmina Sharks, Yaw Acheampong has praised the working combination of himself and former Ghanaian International, Felix Aboagye.
He has described their union as a “perfect pairing” that will help Elmina shark compete well this season.
The former Ashgold midfielder believes his Assistant’s depth of knowledge has, by far, served as a source of motivation for the players and is very sure that it will play a key role going into the premier league season.

“My players are ready to compete this season and thanks to my able assistant, Felix Aboagye who has also helped so far. We speak the same football language and have been an inspiration to the players”, he added.
Coach Acheampong is of the view that purchasing a lot of players does not make a team and as such, all he will need are the right players to do the job.

He also acknowledged the pressure that comes with his job, especially with the targets he has to meet by the end of the season.
Elmina sharks survived their maiden premier league season and will host the Startimes GFA Gala at the Nduom stadium over the weekend.
