The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a new date for the 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup final between Hasaacas Ladies and Army Ladies.

Originally scheduled for April 25, the decisive fixture will now be played on May 17, 2026, at Kukurantumi Ohene Park.

The postponement was necessitated by the release of several key players from both teams for national team duties.

According to the FA, the decision was taken to ensure both finalists are able to compete at full strength, preserving the competitive integrity of the final.

Hasaacas Ladies, one of the most successful sides in Ghanaian women’s football, will be targeting yet another piece of silverware to add to their decorated history.

Army Ladies, meanwhile, will be keen to make a strong statement as they chase the coveted title.

The final will kick off at 2:00 pm, with a strong turnout of supporters expected at Kukurantumi Ohene Park for the high-stakes encounter.
