Former Asante Kotoko express editor, Jerome Otchere has called on management of the team to renew the contract of current head coach Steven Polack.

According to him, the British trainer has proven to be competent enough to continue as the manager of the club.

“It will be unwise for management not to allow coach Polack to continue after the season given the job he has done since joining”, Jerome stated on Asempa FM’s Ultimate sports show Thursday.

“No one can convenience me that Polack is not fit for the job going into next season. He has proven beyond all reasonable doubt, that he can do the job”.

Steven Polack was the fifth coach Asante Kotoko has hired this season and the trainer guided the club to finish fifth on the league log of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season with 43points.
