Ghanaian actress, Leila Djansi has taken a swipe at celebrities who have tagged themselves philanthropists on social media.

According to her, there is no point showing publicly the good one does for others if not to “exploit the suffering of others for your personal gain.”

This is what she posted on her Facebook, adding a quote to signify her statement.

She said “If you have to acknowledge yourself as “Philanthropist on your social media profile, then you’re most probably not showing kindness. You’re exploiting the suffering of others for your personal gain”.
