Felix Kwakye Ofosu, former Deputy Minister of Communications

Former Deputy Communications Minister under the John Mahama administration, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has asked the Akufo-Addo-led government show prove of the 281 promises he made while campaigning in the 2016 elections as an opposition leader.

It is Mr Ofosu contention that the President has little to show in spite of the many promises as it has failed to show any tangible progress in fulfilling those promises.

Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam show, Mr Ofosu said no government has performed better than the National Democratic Congress under the fourth republic.

“The NPP gave us 281 promises ahead of the 2016 elections and as at now, they are unable to boast of fulfilling even 40, which is just about 14% of them.”

“The NPP has raked in about GHc230 billion within three years in power while the NDC obtained Ghc 248 billion within 8 years but still performed better than they are doing,” he said.
