National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammy Awuku has tagged some officials in the erstwhile Mahama government as corrupt.
He says failure on the part of the previous administration to deal with corruption is to be blamed for the current level of corruption.
Mr. Awuku described the National Democratic Congress and corruption as inseparable, comparing them to “having a tea party with the devil.”

“Even in opposition, the NDC is showing their incompetence and corrupts acts. The babies with sharp teeth are experts in insults but have nothing good to offer this country. NDC and corruption is like having a tea party with the devil, nothing good will come out from that so-called party,” he stressed.
Mr. Awuku was reacting to comments by a former Deputy Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu that ex-President Mahama was charitable when he asked President Akufo-Addo to get an Obinim sticker for his incompetence.

Former President John Mahama, while addressing NDC sympathizers at a Unity Walk Wa over the weekend described the Akufo-Addo led-government as “super incompetent.”
But speaking on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” Wednesday, Sammy Awuku said the NDC is confused and good at propagating only falsehood.

He noted that the party, even in opposition still exhibits incompetence while its leaders continue to lack integrity.
