K.T. investment, a tissue paper manufacturing company located at Gomoa Budumburam in the Central region, has been razed down by fire.
The fire started around 1:pm on Saturday and destroyed property and tonnes of tissues in the factory known to be a producer of KoKo tissue.

The cause of the fire was unknown but some people, who spoke to Adom News, said they heard a sudden explosion and saw smoke in the the sky.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News, a worker at the factory said the cause of the fire was still not known.
“We were cooking in the kitchen around 1:pm when we saw the fire which exploded within seconds. All efforts to control it proved futile,” she said.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service were at the scene to douse the fire.
