The District Chief Executive for Gomoa East in the Central region, Solomon Darko Quarm, has promised an educational scholarship support for the children of the two killed Kasoa cops.

According to Mr Quarm, the scholarship to the children of late Lance Corporal Awal Mohammed and Sergeant Michael Dzamesi, who were shot and killed at Budumburam, is to show their way of appreciating the efforts of the cops who died in their line of duty.

Mr Quarm said this in an interview with Adom News when the District Security Council visited the families and presented an undisclosed amount of money to them.

“As an assembly, we give annual scholarships to people in our district and this year we have given 58 scholarships but the children will receive an automatic scholarship package from senior high school to tertiary level because of the unfortunate incident that happened,” he said.
