Ghana’s leading Akan radio station, Adom FM is taking local Ghanaian music genre, hilife close to communities in Ghana in a weekly event dubbed, “Highlife Fiesta”.

The motive of the program, which is hosted by Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall host, Michael Boateng, known on radio as Mike 2, is to visit various pubs in various communities in Accra and soothe patrons with rich Highlife songs.

According to Mike 2, Highlife Fiesta will also aid in promoting the indigenous highlife genre and other aspects of Ghanaian culture.
