Legendary Highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba has revealed that his late girlfriend, Theresa Abrebrese must be partly credited for his success in music and in life.
The musician who sang a song in praise of Theresa who died recently in Kumasi is quoted as revealing on Kumasi-based Agyenkwa FM the woman contributed a lot in his efforts to travel abroad for greener pastures.
The late Theresa Abrebrese, he said was his first girlfriend who helped him to get to Germany.
He continued that Theresa was and still very dear to his heart and she helped him in so many diverse ways.
According to him, the two had plans of getting married but the plan never materialized.
“Theresa was my first girlfriend. She was the one who helped me to get to Germany. We had plans marrying but was not successful. She married when I was in Germany. But I still love her and I will forever be grateful to her,” he said.
Daddy Lumba composed a song for his then lover, Theresa which happens to be one of his hit songs.
