Victims of Nigerian Airforce plane crash laid to rest

The burial ceremony of victims of the Nigerian Air Force plane crash in Abuja last Sunday has been held at the National Cemetery, Abuja.

The bodies which arrived at the cemetery on the morning of Thursday, were laid to rest at the filing of this report.

Popular Nigerian blogger, Kemi Filani has reported that the jet belonging to the Nigerian Air Force, was said to be on its way to Minna to rescue 27 students and 15 staff of Government Science College, Kagara, who were kidnapped on Wednesday, when it crash-landed in Nassau Village around 11 am.

Family members of the deceased were in attendance alongside friends and other sympathizers.

The Chief mourner, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Amao, the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief Of army staff, Chief of Naval Staff, the minister of information Lai mohammed, top serving and retired military are some of the guest in attendance.
