A teacher who was invigilating an exam has collapsed and died in the process causing quite a stir throughout the school.

The Gauteng department of education, South Africa, has suffered a loss of a teacher in Tshwane after she collapsed and died during an exam.
The educator at Clapham Secondary School was invigilating an exam when she started feeling nauseous.
She was apparently taken outside the classroom to the bath room where she sadly collapsed and died today.
The education department  said it was  deeply saddened by the passing away of the teacher.
“The department would like to extend its sincere condolence to the family of the deceased and the entire school community of Clapham Secondary School.

“This is a loss to both the school and the department. However; the department is still conducting further investigation into the matter.

“The educator was a 60 year old who served many years working for the department,” said the department’s head of communication, Oupa Bodibe.
He said the department has sent its psychosocial team to the school to provide trauma debriefing to learners and educators affected by this unfortunate incident.

MEC Panyaza Lesufi has visited the school and will continue to offer support to the family of the deceased.
