Ghanaian music heavyweights Stonebwoy, Fameye, DopeNation and Akwaaboah have been announced as headline performers for the upcoming ‘Ghana for Gold’ Concerts, a two-city musical celebration aimed at promoting Ghanaian culture and rallying support for the country’s athletes ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The concerts, organised by ASA Plus in collaboration with Alordia Promotions, will take place in London on Friday, July 17, 2026, before moving to Edinburgh, Scotland, on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The London edition will be held at the Dominion Centre, located at Gaumont Palace, 9 The Broadway, High Road, London (N22 6DS), while the Scotland leg is scheduled for the Usher Hall in Edinburgh.
Organisers say the event will bring together members of the Ghanaian diaspora, music lovers and supporters of Team Ghana for a celebration of Ghanaian heritage, unity and sporting excellence.
The initiative is being held under the theme: “Come and celebrate our heritage. Support our athletes. Share the pride. One nation. One spirit. One celebration.”
The expanded lineup features multiple award-winning acts, including dancehall and Afrobeat superstar Stonebwoy, highlife and Afro-fusion singer Fameye, award-winning music duo DopeNation, and celebrated highlife artiste Akwaaboah.

The artistes are expected to perform some of their biggest hits while creating an atmosphere of national pride and cultural connection among Ghanaians and supporters in the United Kingdom.
The London concert is scheduled to run from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on July 17, with tickets available through Eventbrite. Standard tickets are advertised at £40, while VIP tickets are priced at £60.
For the Scotland edition, promotional materials indicate both VIP and Standard tickets are priced at £60.
The organisers have positioned the concerts as part of broader efforts to generate support for Ghana’s participation in the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where Team Ghana will compete alongside athletes from across the Commonwealth.
Beyond the performances, the event is expected to serve as a platform to strengthen Ghana’s cultural presence abroad and connect the diaspora with the country’s sporting ambitions.
Further details on ticket sales, event logistics and additional announcements are expected to be communicated through the official channels of the organisers ahead of the concerts.
