StarTimes Ghana will brief the media on the Ghana Premier League broadcasting rights they have recently secured.

The Chinese pay per view television network has secured a five-year deal to broadcast the Ghana Premier League.

According to a statement released by the Ghana FA, the deal is worth $5.23m.

The country’s top flight football returns after a year and half of no football following the airing of the ‘Number 12’ documentary that uncovered in football in the country.

Madam Akorfa Djankui, who is the marketing manager of the television in an interview with Asempa FM had said the details of the deal will be made known to the media today.

The media brief will be held at the premises of StarTimes Ghana at 2pm.
