Love, they say, can make one do the unimaginable and that is exactly what happened when Kumawood actress Louisa Adinkra first met her husband, Yaw Frimpong, seven years back.
The actress has disclosed in a recent interview that a former Kotoko and Congo’s TP Mazembe player was not rich as the public think when she accepted his proposal.
Speaking to Tracey Boakye on her new show, Time With Tracey, the mother of one disclosed that her partner was not driving when they started their relationship so she had to sell the car her ex-boyfriend gave her to be at his level.
“Yaw was walking when I met him but I was driving so I sold my car so that he would know that we are on the same level”, she stated.

Louisa stated that she did not marry her footballer husband because of cash because her ex-boyfriend whose name she only gave as Kwaku was richer than Yaw Frimpong when she agreed to ditch the former for the latter seven years back.
According to her, she needed peace so money was not her focus when actor, Sumsum informed her that one Yaw Frimpong had shown interest in her seven years back.

The outspoken actress further said her husband was earning GHC500 as a Kotoko footballer but she left her then-boyfriend, Kwaku who gave her same amount each week to start a new life with the player.
Louisa Adinkra and Yaw Frimpong are blessed with a daughter after five years of marriage.
The two dated for two years before marrying five years ago.
