Ghanaian dancehall act, Shatta Wale had long served notice that 2019 would be one of the biggest years in his career and life and his prediction is coming to pass with precision.

Barely weeks after bagging a feature with one of the world’s leading music icons, Beyoncé, on her Already song off the Lion King: The Gift album, Shatta is in the process of landing a deal as an ambassador for one of the world’s leading beer brands, Budweiser.

A twitter post by the producers of Budweiser, known to have subsidiaries in over 80 countries, asked the dancehall king if he would want to link up for a collaboration in the future.

Shatta who is currently promoting his Melissa song, in a quick riposte, said “I got you and ever readied for this collab!!!

According to Adomonline.com checks, Wikipedia.com names Budweiser as one of the largest-selling beers in the United States.

The beer company has signed an agreement with world popular Football leagues like the English Premier League and Spanish LaLiga as their official beer sponsors for the 2019 season.

Forbes.com reports Budweiser’s global brand sales rose 5.3% in 2018 and 10% outside the U.S., led by China, Brazil and the U.K. Sales rose by more than 25% in Brazil.

Budweiser was the most-talked-about brand on digital and social media during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, with an estimated five billion social media impressions. 

Should a deal happen between Shatta and Budweiser, it will be a major breakthrough that will bring a lot of financial opportunities to the president of Shatta Movement.
