Media and Public Relations Manager for Shatta Wale has advised veteran musician Adane Best to reconsider his desire to collaborate with the dancehall artiste if he is unwilling to embrace modern technology in music production.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Sammy Flex said the music industry has evolved significantly and artistes who fail to adapt to technological advancements risk being left behind.

According to him, technology has become an important part of contemporary music production and performance, making it necessary for artistes across generations to understand and adopt new trends.

“This is the new thing. It is either you are with us or you are dying out. Nobody will remember you again,” Sammy Flex said.

He explained that while many older artistes built their careers on raw talent and traditional approaches to music, the current industry requires a balance between creativity and technology.

“At that time, most of them were not even thinking about money. It was the passion, the fact that they knew they could sing. But we should let them know that the music business has changed drastically,” he added.

Sammy Flex further argued that Shatta Wale, who Adane Best expressed interest in working with, is among artistes who have embraced technology in music production.

“If this is his thinking, then the next artist he says he wants to do a feature with should not be Shatta Wale. Shatta, he’s the king of technology in music production,” he stated.

His comments follow Adane Best’s earlier interview where he expressed desire to collaborate with Shatta.

However, in the same interview, he criticized the new crop of artistes for over-reliance on technology, which Sammy Flex has explained is an integral part of modern music.
