Our attention has been drawn to certain inaccuracies in our online story of August 12 captioned Don’t Interfere in Church Business, Mahama tells Akufo-Addo, and, we hereby render an unqualified apology to Ex-President John Mahama, who was misrepresented in parts of the story.
It is hereby clarified that Mr. Mahama did not talk about the proposition that churches in Ghana should be taxed, as mistakenly carried on our online portal.
A re-written story has been posted on adomonline.com under the caption Ghanaians Must Leave Regulation of Churches to Religious Bodies – Ex-Prez Mahama.
Any inconvenience caused Ex-President Mahama is very much regretted.
