Armed robbers have raided the Ashongman residence of a University of Ghana lecturer Dr. Benedicta Fosu-Mensah this dawn and robbed her at gunpoint.
In her horrifying experience, she told JOYNEWS, the robbers beat her up, took the family’s vehicle and threatened to kill her.
After them her laptop and money, she indicated that the armed robbers who are four in number tied her hand and legs and pointed a gun at her demanding more money.
“When I told them I had no money on me, they used the AK47 rifle to beat me” she bemoaned.
Dr. Benedicta Fosu-Mensah said one of the armed robbers suggested they kill her but the others did not heed to his call.
They, however, took away her car, money and other valuables in the house.
