President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has served men of the Ghana Armed Forces when he graced the West African Soldiers Social Activity (WASSA) end-of-year gettogether.

The president played the role of a waiter by serving the men and women in uniform at a buffet session that was part of the programme.

The president later posted details of his visit to the programme in which he revealed that“I attended the 2018 end-of-year WASSA of the Ghana Armed Forces, at Burma Camp. I thanked the leadership, officers, men and women of the Armed Forces for being prepared to put their lives on the line to keep our nation safe, safeguard our sovereignty and protect our territorial integrity in the course of 2018. Government, I assured, is fully committed to the well-being and welfare of the men and women of the Ghana Armed Forces.”
