A man believed to be in his early 20s has been found dead in a bush around Tolon-Abattoir road, a suburb of the Tamale Metropolis.
The deceased was found lying on his stomach in the bush with blood oozing from his head.
Some residents who spoke to Adom News’ Illiasu Abdul Rauf said they became alarmed when they found the lifeless body of the young man.
The incident which occurred early Monday dawn shocked many residents but could not identify the deceased.
While some believed he committed suicide, others also suspect the deceased could be an armed robber who was lynched and later dumped in the bush.
The body had since been deposited at the Tamle Teaching Hospital pending autopsy.
