The delegation of Akwamuhene, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III were part of the tall list of traditional palaces who thronged the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) to bid their son, Kofi Atta Annan, farewell.

At the AICC, libation and prayers were said to the Almighty God to lead the global icon on in his afterlife.

Key family members accompanied the delegation to pay last respect to the man who could not hurt a fly.

Traditional rites were held to sanctify the legacy, Kofi Annan left as a former UN Boss, before departing from earth.

Libations were poured and certain rituals performed aside gifts that were presented to him as he begins journey to his ancestors.
