President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has presented 200 Toyota Camry vehicles to the Ghana Police Service in fulfilment of a pledge he made to them earlier this year.
He announced the donation through a post on Facebook with the caption:
“On Friday, 26th October, 2018, I presented 200 Toyota Camry vehicles to the Ghana Police Service, in fulfillment of a pledge I made to them earlier this year, and with the assurance of more to come.
I urged the Police to pay particular attention to the proper maintenance of these vehicles and use them to serve and protect the Ghanaian people. When the citizenry and police work together, we can be assured of our safety and security, and, then, we can channel all our energies and resources into building a progressive and prosperous nation.”
