Pastor Enoch Adeboye is set to hold special prayers for lecturers and students caught in the Sex-for-Grades scandal.
As concerns mount over Sex-for-Grades scandals in Nigerian universities, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is organising a special prayer for lecturers, students and a host of others, The Tribune reports.
Senior university lecturers are being caught pants down in the said scandal across ivory towers, with the most recent being lecturers in the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The popular Nigerian cleric was a senior lecturer in the department of Mathematics in UNILAG before calling it quits with lecturing to become a full time preacher.
Also included in the special prayer slated for November 3 are professors, with a couple already losing their once-glittering careers to sexual escapades with their female students.
Also expected at the programme scheduled to take place at the ministry’s headquarters are teachers, youth corps members and all the families of the special attendees.
