Parliament is expected to reconvene for the first meeting of the second session today, Tuesday, 23 January 2018.
The House is expected to properly resume after two emergency recalls truncated their Christmas holidays.
The first recall had to do with a motion by the Minority for the House to investigate the infamous cash- for-seat saga with the last recall taking place on Sunday, 21 January, 2018 when the lawmakers converged to swear-in Speaker of Parliament, Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye as acting President in the absence of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia from the country.
In total, some 55 bills will be tabled before the House for consideration with some three other bills already before the various committees.
