This was after the Okyehene, over the weekend, was in Manhyia to pay a visit to the Asante Monarch, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

But many believe the gesture is just for the cameras, especially when President Akufo-Addo seems to have played a role in the reunion.

But Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the King, Daniel Ofori Atta, on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Monday said the two traditional authorities are very good friends.

He explained that both the Okyehene and Asantehene ascended the throne in 1999 and share ideas together.

Daniel Ofori Atta maintained that the two Kings are united to ensure development in their respective traditional areas.
