The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Frankfurt Chapter is set to bring women across the diaspora and Ghana together for a landmark virtual summit focused on leadership, solidarity, and nation-building.
Slated for Sunday, June 14, 2026, the Women’s Empowerment and Unity Summit will take place on Zoom under the theme: “Empowering Women, Strengthening Unity, Building the Future.”
The event is designed to spark bold conversations about women’s role in political organization, deepen party unity, and inspire the next generation of female leaders within the NPP tradition.
The programme kicks off at 8:00 PM Central European Time / 6:00 PM Ghana Time, making it accessible to party faithful both in Europe and back home.
Headlining the summit are two of the most influential women voices in the party former MP for Awutu Senya East and National Women’s Organiser hopeful, Mavis Hawa Koomson and Mrs. Yaa Frimpong popularly known as Obaa Yaa, NPP-USA Chairlady and aspirant for National First Vice Chairperson.
The session will be hosted by Joseph Kwasi Kintor, Frankfurt Chapter Chairman, with Catherine Obobi, Deputy Women’s Organiser and Women’s Organiser hopeful for the Germany Branch, serving as moderator.
Organizers say the summit goes beyond talk. It aims to strengthen women’s participation in party structures, encourage cohesion among members at home and abroad, and set a strategic direction for the NPP’s future. With women leaders from different levels of the party on the panel, discussions will tackle representation, grassroots mobilization, and visionary leadership.
The timing is significant. Across Ghana and the diaspora, conversations about women’s inclusion and influence in political decision-making are gaining momentum.
For NPP members in Europe, the summit offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with top party figures and contribute ideas that will shape organization and leadership for years to come.
With high-profile speakers, a timely theme, and a clear focus on unity and empowerment, the Women’s Empowerment and Unity Summit is expected to draw wide participation from NPP supporters in Germany, across Europe, and beyond.
