Ghanaian hip hop artiste, William Kojo Johnson, known by stage name, Stay Jay, has claimed that he can rap better than most musicians in the country currently.
The man who has consistently been releasing hit songs said he still possesses the ability to rap better than most musicians.
At the peak of his music career, Stay Jay enjoyed massive success with hit singles like Shashee wowo, Twaame Lala, Prepaid girl, Sue, My baby, Sa aba , feelings and among many hits.
These songs gave him a place in the list of the Top 10 rappers in Ghana.
“My first hit single shashee wowo is over 6 years old but am still touring and showcasing Ghana around the world. It even gave me a gig in Liberia at the George Weah inauguration concert in Monrovia and this is what has kept Stay Jay off the scene for some time, and its  enough to prove to Ghanaians we are still working…,” he said.
Stay Jay claimed that ‘unlike new rappers who struggles to sustain themselves in the industry after coming out with a hit song, he is still doing well despite failing to come out with a new song’.
He maintained that the passion for the music industry has sustained him over the years and his urged new rappers to do same.
“Once things don’t seem to be happening quickly, they get burned out and fade into the sunset. If you want to make it as a rapper, then you need to truly love the craft…,” he encouraged.
