The Inter-Party Resistance Against New Voters’ Register (IPRAN) on Tuesday hit the streets of Accra to demand that the Electoral Commission rescinds its decision to compile a new voters’ register.

The development comes on the back of an IPAC meeting on Thursday which ended in a stalemate and a near exchange of blows.

There was, however, a lighter side to the all-red protest as participants were caught jamming to a number of songs on the ground.

In spite of the charged atmosphere, protesters danced freely to popular Ghanaian highlife music tunes.

Some of the songs the participants danced to included Barima Sydney’s Our money, Samuel Owusu’s yeka wo ntie, Nigerian gospel artiste, Eben’s victory, among others.
