National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Ho Central constituency in the Volta Region, Edem Kofi KPOTOSU has organized Free health and eye screening and skills training for over 1,000 market women in the area.

The constituents have described this effort as a remarkable demonstration of commitment to community health care.

The parliamentary candidate’s efforts are in line with his belief in efficient and accessible healthcare for his people and the belief that the eye is the door to the mind and the body.

A total of over 1000 individuals benefited from the comprehensive eye and health screening exercise and were given free medications.

Mr. EDEM KOFI KPOTOSU speaking in an interview with Adom News correspondent, Odehyeba Owusu Job said healthcare is one of his major priorities and will not wait until he is elected into office in 2025 before attending to his constituents.

Some of the beneficiaries who were diagnosed with various health issues such as BP, among other health-related issues were given free medication.

They thanked the MP for the kind gesture and pledged their full support ahead of the December elections.

The screening exercise was dubbed: Start Your Year Right; Know Your Health Status.
