National Youth Organizer elect of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), George Opare Addo has expressed his surprise at the gap with which he won his position at the just-ended Youth conference.
Mr Opare Addo won the elections with 523 votes with his closest contenders, Yaw Brogya Gyemfi and Wonder Madilo polling 396 and 74 respectively.

In an interview with Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen political talk show, the man known also as Pablo expressed his surprise at his margin of win.
“I wasn’t surprised I won but I was surprised at the margin with which I won because I was expecting a bigger margin”, he said.

Edem Agbana and Ruth Dela were also elected deputy national youth organisers.
