Fred Agbenyo,

A former Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is confident the incumbent Akufo-Addo-led government will serve one term.

According to Fred Agbenyo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lost faith with Ghanaians over the government’s inability to fulfill its 2016 manifesto promises.

“There is a lot happening in Ghana now, a lot of agitations and apathy and is evident Nana Addo will serve one term but the alternative is John Mahama and anybody who will not accept this is embarking on self-deception,” he said.

Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam show, Thursday, Mr Agbenyo claimed the NPP has no option for their campaign ahead of the 2020 election.

“The NPP has nothing left for their campaign in 2020. The only option they have left is to connive with the Electoral Commission to rig the election but we are very vigilante and going to match them boot for boot,” he noted.

According to him, the NDC will neither relax nor give space for them to be cheated in the 2020 elections and will urge all party supporters to work hard towards its victory.
