Incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Klottey- Korley Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr Zanetor Rawlings has emerged winner in the party’s parliamentary primary.
Dr Zanetor Rawlings swept 671 votes while her contenders – Leeford Quarshie who came second polled 336 votes, with Nii Alema Bashiru polling 260 votes.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News after the polls, Dr Rawlings said her resounding victory is a good indicator for her victory in the 2020 general election.
“The people have rewarded my hard work with their massive support and I will continue the work I did for my victory in the primary ahead of the 2020 election,” she said.
