The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will open nominations for its 2026 Regional Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 6, as the party begins the process of electing new regional executives.
The party announced the commencement of the process in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 29, urging interested members to take advantage of the opportunity to contest the various positions.
“This marks an important stage in the Party’s electoral process, and all members who intend to contest for the various Regional Executive positions are encouraged to take full advantage of the process within the prescribed period,” the statement said.
The NDC has directed all prospective aspirants to make payments for the picking of nomination forms and filing fees exclusively through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com.
Payments can be made using Mobile Money, Visa or MasterCard.
“Bank payments and bank drafts will not be accepted,” the party stated.
The party further clarified that aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing and have fully paid their membership dues.
Members with outstanding dues have therefore been asked to settle their arrears through 92025# or the party’s online dues payment platform.
The NDC also reminded all participants of the need to uphold discipline and respect throughout the electoral process.
“The Party urges all aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for the Party’s democratic values throughout the electoral process,” the statement added.
