Singer King Bongo has descended on pastors who have made it their businesses to only predict the death of young celebrities.

The musician has urged his colleagues in the showbiz industry to ignore such prophets who only pride themselves in prophesying about the death of people who are striving in the entertainment space.

Da Don’s Empire record label signee has said such predictions or prophecies, whether they are true or not, tend to put fear in musicians and even their managers.

Citing the many prophecies of death that hanged around the neck of Rufftown record singer Wendy Shay, King Bongo said her manager Bullet may be now scared to handle female artistes.

The musician wondered why such prophecies of death of artistes are only limited to Ghana, saying we know lots of bad things happening in other countries but Jesus [God] would skip people like Jay Z, Puff Daddy, Lil Wayne, Beyonce and come to Ghana.

Even in Ghana he skips Reggie Rockstone, JJ, Nana Addo and settle on Kuami Eugene and Wendy Shay, he asked.

What have those two musicians done that pastors want them to die so young, he queried on Asempa FM‘s weekend entertainment show, Tête-à-Tête.
