Vice chairman of the MTN FA CUP committee, Mr. Kofi Poku has explained that directives to change the cup final from 5pm to 3pm will affect preparations made earlier.
According to the football administrator, all parties involved have expressed discomfort about the directive to change the time since they have all planned their itinerary to factor the original tome.
“Coaches of both Kotoko and Hearts are complaining about the change of time because the change of time will affect their training regimen” he explained.
“The directive from the ministry was unexpected and this change might affect the effect we expected from the game”, Mr. Poku said on Asempa Fm.
“This last minute change has adversely affected all our plans in place”.
Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will play for the slot to represent Ghana at the Confederations Cup next season.
