“President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch the Adwumawura Programme in the Ashanti Region today, April 28, 2025.
The key programme by the Mahama-led administration aims to create 10,000 youth-led businesses annually with a special focus on youth empowerment.
The government is optimistic that the programme, which fulfils the 120-day social contract, will also address the country’s unemployment rate.
Additionally, the President will launch the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares) and the National Apprenticeship Programme this week.
