President of Liberia, President George Weah, has declared free tuition in University of Liberia and all other public universities.
He made the announcement during his visit to the University of Liberia before taking to his Facebook page to announce the news to the world.
“Today, I’m excited to announce that I have declared the University of Liberia and all other Public Universities in Liberia tuition-free for all undergraduates,” he wrote.

Students rejoiced after he made the announcement, as the policy will apply to all undergraduates.
