National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Juaboso constituency, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has urged politicians to prioritise the needs of Ghanaians and desist from politicising health issues in the country.

The comments follow a tour to abandoned health facility project areas by Minority members on Parliament’s Select Committee on Health.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Enkosii Sen show, Mr Akandoh, who described the sights of the project as an eyesore, said the tour was to confirm media reports on the state of the projects. 

“Let us not politicise issues relating to our health because we do not know how many people are dying or have died because these projects have been abandoned.

“We must focus on the needs of the people and stop shifting blame while these projects rot away,” he urged.
