The Kumawood fraternity came together in a show of love and solidarity as several popular actors joined family and friends to honour the late Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi, popularly known as Sir Rostomo, during his one-week observance.

The solemn gathering saw some of Ghana’s well-known faces in the local movie industry step away from the cameras to support the bereaved family and celebrate the life of their colleague.

Among the actors who attended were Mercy Asiedu, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Matilda Asare, Paa George, Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin, Uncle Fii and Taylor, who joined other mourners at the ceremony.

The atmosphere was filled with mixed emotions as mourners reflected on the actor’s contribution to Ghana’s film industry and shared memories of his life and career.

Sir Rostomo’s family, including his widow and three children, received support from colleagues and loved ones who gathered to comfort them during the difficult period.
